One of Leonardo García Alarcón's aspirations is to surround himself with artists who share his musical path and to fulfil their artistic dreams. When bandoneonist William Sabatier told him that he wanted to perform his interpretation of María de Buenos Aires in its original form, he said yes.
The Cité Bleue is the ideal setting for this version of Piazzolla's "operita" in its original form, the fruit of rigorous exegesis and collaboration with artists equal to his ambitions. A dense, lyrical, sensual, dramatic, poetic and surreal work, this María de Buenos Aires promises a journey into the most authentic depths of the porteña capital in the late 1960s.
