#16161D is the colour code for "intrinsic grey" from the German "Eigengrau". A colour that is self-generating even in the absence of light. The same colour you see when you close your eyes. In the midst of this darkness, five performers equipped with portable lights use their beams to highlight and distinguish the movements of bodies and voices as they move through the classical repertoire and vocal works, from Allegri's Miserere to After the End. A construction game in which the invisible and the intangible become the materials for an astonishing sound and visual architecture.
