This concert offers a journey through the fusion of European and Native American baroque sounds, drawing in particular on the Codex Martínez Compañón, an exceptional collection of songs and dances blending indigenous, Spanish and African influences.
Through the voices of the artists and young singers of the Maîtrise du Conservatoire populaire, you will hear festive cachuas, tonadas with captivating rhythms and hymns to Inca heroes, accompanied by traditional instruments such as bandolas, chirimías, harps and period violins.
A true musical journey between ancient traditions and intense emotions!
