A fusion of theatre, social cinema and music, Seasons explores the lives and personal quests of three characters in the style of a truly contemporary fresco.
The story is told on stage, while the characters on screen evolve in a strange space, a parallel reality. They are linked by a common musical sequence, crossing a few key elements from the diversity of contemporary and classical popular music.
The show aims to capture the duality between physical proximity and emotional distance. The characters, who live in the same building, keep bumping into each other without finding each other.
As the individual stories develop, they converge on a transcendental climax in which the characters free themselves from their isolation on stage in a symphony of sight and sound.
A deeply moving show that highlights the contemporary loneliness of big cities through a subtle blend of the arts.
A co-production of La Cité Bleue Genève, Maison de la culture de Bourges, Compagnie Artara and Cappella Mediterranea.
In coproduction with Maison de la Culture de Bourges and Cappella Mediterranea, ensemble in residence at La Cité Bleue Genève, based on an original idea by Leonardo García-Alarcón for the musical creation.
