Cappella Mediterranea’s *Mediterráneo* concert offers a fascinating journey through Spanish and Mediterranean music. This eclectic program highlights the poetic and musical work of Joan Manuel Serrat, a giant of Spanish song, while seamlessly integrating it with pieces from Spain’s Golden Age.
The ensemble explores iconic songs by Serrat, such as “Mediterráneo” and “Aquellas pequeñas cosas,” transposed into polyphonic madrigals and arranged for early instruments such as the viola da gamba, harpsichord, recorder, and guitar. An invitation to rediscover these songs in a new light, while celebrating the Mediterranean cultural heritage.
In co-production with Cappella Mediterranea.
The legendary Spanish singer-songwriter Joan Manuel Serrat will be in attendance for the performance of *Mediterráneo* and will participate in a post-concert Q&A. A rare moment not to be missed.
