When theater, film, and music come together
When theater, film, and music converge
, *Seasons* returns to La Cité Bleue in 2026 as a highlight of its artistic program: created by Fabrice Murgia, this hybrid production blends theater, film, and music ranging from Italian Baroque to pop, with stops along the way at tango and Motown.
On stage, three voices rise, three unique destinies, three lives separated by everything: Mariana, a fragile young woman grappling with a heavy emotional past; Arezki, a delivery driver reintegrating into society after a prison sentence; and TK, a young man captivated by his digital worlds. These characters, whom we encounter like neighbors behind the windows of a building, will cross paths, clash, resonate, and, little by little, build an intense human mosaic.
The strength of Seasons lies in its blend of languages: a striking staging that brings reality and imagination to life simultaneously, an eclectic soundtrack ranging from the baroque of Purcell and Handel to pop icons like The Beatles, ABBA, and Rihanna, and a script that knows how to surprise. With its moving finale, Seasons is a sensitive production that explores our relationship with others, with ourselves, and with the world—a musical and cinematic reflection on our inner seasons.
