What if your body could express what words cannot yet convey?
This workshop invites parents and children to explore the world of emotions together through dance. Guided by dancer and choreographer Anasma Vuong, you’ll discover how movement can become a language: a way to name what we feel, share it, and learn to embrace it.
You don’t need to know how to dance to join in! Through simple, gentle games—such as guessing an emotion from someone else’s gesture, responding to their movement, or creating short dance sequences together—children and adults experience emotions like joy, surprise, anger, or calm. Drawing on the wheel of emotions and exercises in listening and imagination, the workshop also gives parents practical tools to support their child’s emotional development, long after the workshop is over.
Above all, it’s a time to spend with your family—playing, moving, and creating together, away from screens and daily routines. A shared experience that strengthens bonds, fosters closeness, and leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling.
No prerequisites. Open to all families.
